We were delighted to recently welcome students from the Royal Society of Ulster Architects’ Professional Insight Programme (PIP) to our Down High School site.
Organised in collaboration with the Education Authority, visits like this support the development of the next generation of architect-undergraduate students who are currently in their second year of studies at both Queen’s University of Belfast and Ulster University’s Schools of Architecture.
Feedback from the Education Authority has been wonderful.
Glenda Hall, Head of Service-Minor Capital Delivery Infrastructure and Capital Development at the Education Authority said:
“We really appreciated the collective support from your staff when we visited the site. Despite their busy day jobs the teams from Graham and McAdam Design, enthusiastically explained the project to the students and their enthusiasm for construction helped us inspire the next generation, showing the students in such a positive way what the ‘face’ of construction really looks like.”
We wish the students every success in their studies!
